PASTING VIEWS (SECTION CUTS, CALLOUTS AND SECTION CUTS) INTO A NEW FILE
As with the Model Elements, it is important to paste the referenced views into the new file using an "Aligned" view. 'Aligned' pasting of Views can only be done in the plan view.

If pasting into an Elevation or Section View, then the view has to be pasted using 'Paste from Clipboard'. The pasted Views will need to be manually positioned.

When using 'Paste from Clipboard' a blue dashed line will appear showing the original location of the object.
Unfortunately this default value can not be accepted. To get as close as possible to the original position it is recommended that one zoom into the corner closest to the insertion mark and try to get the lines around the pasted elements aligned with the original blue lines

Zoom in and Align with Origin Blue Line
Note that a "Duplicate Types" dialogue box, such as below, might appear. Select "OK"
